In November, the weekend before Thanksgiving, my mom and sister (Lauren) came to visit us. It was fun to have them here and show them where we live. While they were here we attended Kristy's baby shower in Red Star. Here are some pictures we took after the baby shower...
Mom and Lauren flew back to Colorado on the following Monday and Darren and I flew out there on Tuesday. We spent Thanksgiving and the rest of that week with my family in Colorado. On Thanksgiving day my parents had some family friends over. They have invited the Bier's over for several years now. The Bier's also brought their son Aaron and wife Jana. Well, it turns out that Jana is related to Darren. How crazy is that? Darren's great grandpa and Jana's great grandma are brother in sister. They recognized eachother because several years ago Jana visited Red Star. Funny how small the world is in the church.
The semester is over! We took our finals last week and began our month-long break from school. It has been a little boring without school though, I must admit. We mostly plan to visit Darren's family over the break.
